On Saturday February 10th, we were lucky enough to plan the breathtaking wedding of Mara and John at the Vista at Seward Hall. Mara and John had a vision of lush mixed green garlands and olive foliages, and with the help of florist Flora Amor, we were able to make that dream come alive! Adding earthy tones and textures is a rising trend, so we are dedicating this blog post to sharing how to incorporate lush greenery and foliages into your next event.

Flowers can be very expensive, and there’s no more stylish substitute than stunning greenery. To add accents to long reception tables, try incorporating a garland to your runner. They add a nice texture, while still allowing guests room to talk and mingle. For circular tables, olive foliages can be added as earthy and affordable centerpieces.

Thinking about planning your event under a tent? No need to worry! Hanging garlands from the ceiling adds a wonderful touch of color, while also making the tented area have a more intimate feel. You can also incorporate greenery by lining it on the edges of the tent.

Garlands and foliages aren’t only perfect for the reception. They can add a unique touch to your wedding ceremony as well. Try replacing the traditional bridesmaids' flower boutiques with boutiques made of greenery! This will add something extraordinary to your wedding photos, and look gorgeous against all dress tones. Many people are also incorporating greenery onto their wedding getaway cars. This looks especially elegant strung across any type of vintage vehicle.
